Introduction: I have been in the food industry for 30 plus years, and am a recent graduate from the Art Institute obtaining my degree in Culinary Arts and classically trained in International and American Regional cuisines. My passion is to work with clients on an individual basis to design their event around them. I strive to make sure every detail is taken care, provide fresh, healthy meals and stay within the clients budget. I prefer to cook on-site so you know you are getting the freshest cuisine but have a location I do cook out whenever an on-site kitchen. I bring to the table years worth of experience, dedication to what I love doing, and a strong work ethic. In the past two I have worked with Art of Flavor catering, Fresher Sacramento and Executive Chef Riggs of the Del Paso Country Club for the US Senior Open which gave me the additional skills needed to provide with great food and service. I enjoy sitting down with clients and creating a menu that not only represents them but any needs they may have as well. I love cooking the food and setting it up in a way that entices all guests. I also know that your special event is stressful enough without having to worry about how your guests are going to like the food. This is why I make sure when going over the menu, I also prepare the meal for you to try and make any changes you may feel are needed.

I had my bridal shower catered by Creative Fusion and it turned out perfectly! Michelle Meyer is the owner and was there every step of the way to ensure perfect execution. The food was absolutely spectacular, full of flavor and uniqueness! Michelle was incredibly professional and organized and made me feel like I was her only client. I was so impressed I referred my little sister to her and now my little sister will be having Michelle cater her wedding! I am a customer for life and would highly recommend her for any event, big or small!

A successful client appreciation party thanks to Michelle. She took all of the stress of the party off of my hands...prepared the food, set up, served, bartended, cleaned up. I can't express enough just how much of a pleasure it was having Michelle as a catering partner. She is a true asset to anyone who is looking for a winning caterer. I have worked with Michelle on numerous occasions and she has always gone above and beyond the call of duty. Michelle did our Baby Shower for us. At the very last moment we had to bring what was planned for an outside event to the inside due to the heat and she was able to do this with no problem. The presentation was outstanding and so beautiful! The food was delicious and such a variety of things to try. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to everyone. The entire experience was fantastic. Thank you again Michelle for making this event so special....

The food was very good except for the cheese ravioli was too done. Love the bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms and Asian chicken skewers. I was very satisfied overall with the food. The staff was friendly and dressed nicely. I gave only 3 stars because the catering was very late (40 minutes) to the event. The caterer stated there were some problems out of her control that contributed to the tardiness.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to personally meet any new client(s) to get a better understanding of their needs, tastes and expectations. I come with a few different menu options based on the information provided either online or by phone. This gives you the opportunity to choose from the menu or we can create one that has a more personal feel.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the Art Institute obtaining my Associates degree along with working with Art of Flavor Catering, Fresher Sacramento, US Senior Open at Del Paso Country Club.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always helped my mom cook growing up. When I was a sophomore in high school I was given the opportunity to not only earn credits but get paid as well in a new program called Outside Work Experience. This is where I learned everything from running the front of the house to back of the house. I have been in and out of the food industry for 29 years now and still have a passion for cooking.
