It has been easy and delightful to establish a working relationship with Julie, one that has lasted a number of years. Because she is intuitive and an excellent listener, she quickly understood what I wanted in and from my garden. My garden is full each year of both flowering and foliage plants in colors and varieties that complement each other in blooming time and in height. Julie is flexible, tolerant and even welcoming of my requests - I like different things every year! - using her extensive knowledge to keep both me and the plants happy. Julie's staff is as professional, articulate and thoughtful as she is. It is as much of a pleasure to have Julie in the garden as the flowers themselves.

Julie and her crew provide excellent service and amazing outcomes in both residence design and planting. She has helped us decide on a landscape design in some very challenging areas around our pond and in our front yard that has problematic sun and soil. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My Design fees are $90 an hour
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After an initial contact, I visit the client, and see their gardens. I find the relationship between myself and my clients to be of the most importance. Gardens are very personal, and I want to get to know someones style and likes before I begin.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in the Arts, I have taken Coursework at The Landscape Institute in Cambridge, Ma for Garden Design. I hold two Certificates in Permaculture Design. I have worked in many capacities is the horticultural field, including landscape crew foreman, greenhouse work, interior plant technician and nursery work.
