Julie originally was hired to remodel our daughters room. At our request, she also helped us choose paint colors throughout our house and picked out many wall accessories for multiple rooms. She truly has a lot of resources at her disposal. We had custom furniture built and a chair reupholstered by her many contacts. I think her rates are reasonable for all that she provides. Julie was a very professional meticulous designer. She made sure everything met her high standards. I was truly impressed with all of her suggestions and performance. My daughter loves her room. We removed a closet and added custom built furniture throughout plus added many accessories such as a wall mural, rug, window treatments etc. All thoughtfully picked out by Julie. She's very adept and listened to my daughters interests and needs as well as ours. In the end, the room came out better than we had envisioned. We were so impressed with her that we also had her help us choose paint colors throughout our house. All the colors made our house flow much nicer than before we had changed it. She also found wall pieces to finish off our rec room and dining area. Overall, I would rate Reflections Design Studio an A+ and plan on using her again for future projects. I highly recommend her.

We had a fantastic experience working with Julie and we would highly recommend her! She is a highly professional designer with very vast knowledge of interior design skills, with fresh and innovative ideas. Julie, while holding to her beautiful aesthetics, always had plenty of suggestions and options which allowed us to be part of the process with respect to our budget. We sure saved a lot of time and money and are thrilled with outcome. She is such fun to work with, a beautiful person and professional from start to finish and outcome is beyond our expectations. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer an initial 2 hour in home consultation for $120. After that I charge $85/hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After an initial conversation via phone or email to assess the client's needs I offer an initial 2 hour in home consultation for $120. We can accomplish quite a bit in those 2 hours. If the scale of the project requires further work I discuss the scope of the project with my client and we formulate a plan that works for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Interior Design, 6 years experience working for a small residential design firm in Delaware and almost 4 years in business for myself. I also teach Interior Design at DCAD.
