Introduction: B.A. Psychology in Education
NASM - CPT
Training and educating are important parts of my life path. Throughout my experiences working in public education and being a stay at home parent, I’ve learned a lot about how to motivate, foster confidence, address different learning styles and personalities, and how impactful wholehearted efforts with, and interest in, others can be. Giving your best to others encourages them to give their best back.
Several years ago I began to think about my eating habits and fitness and made some decisions about what I wanted both for myself, and to be modeling for my family. Through this experience of learning to change the way I eat and exercise, I found the next step in my path of education. My intention is to share what I have learned about the impact fitness, strength training in particular, has not only on physical wellness, but on other aspects of well -being too. Nurturing your body and building strength at the gym translates to caring for your total self and discovering new abilities in all areas of your life.
I look forward to the opportunity to give you my best and help you nurture all of your strengths.
I work with clients of various ages and fitness levels. It is important to individualize training, and I enjoy the process of challenging and progressing people from their unique starting point toward their specific goals.
