What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new clients, I would ask a few questions: * Are you married? Do you have dependents? * What type of income do you have? W2, 1099-R, 1099-Misc? * Are you self-employed or contract worker? * Do have rental income? * Do you own a home? * Did you pay college tuition for self/husband/children? * Did you pay for child care? * What personal expenses can you claim? Medical, donations, work expenses? Further questions would follow as needed.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ragasa Tax Service has been in business for 34 years. The company's original owner was my mother, Petra P. Ragasa. She has taught me from my early years how to prepare taxes. I have since been keeping up with the newest laws and updates of the IRS. Thereafter, as my mother aged, and hence passed, her legacy was handed over to me to continue.
