FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
With advancing popularity, massage has become much more accessible to ALL walks of life. My pricing directly reflects my experience and skill as a therapist. Ultimately, the standard rates for the services I provide are competitive for the level of work I am able to perform.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Establishing a solid connection, first and foremost. During the initial consultation I will ask A LOT of relevant questions and in return answer many myself. I believe that when there exists a solid relationship of trust and effective communication, truly amazing things can happen. Each persons comfort is extremely important to me and I know how, ironically, stressful it can be finding your regular therapist.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been licensed since 2004. I have worked in both clinical and luxury spa settings. Managed massage teams larger than 20 therapists. Taken several continuing education classes since licensure and continue to have a passion to learn. But aside from the numerous certifications, the best education I have received is from working with real people. People with everyday lives, children and full time jobs. People who have been injured from mildly to severely. The best training I receive and still continue to receive is the ability to connect what I have learned about the body and different situations and when to apply different methods. It taught me intuition with each individual and how to listen effectively with my hands to what the body is trying to communicate.
