FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe our pricing to be a fair representation of the quality and standard of work we perform, no matter what the project may be or what it entails. Every contractor has a different work flow and different methods in how they work - we pride ourselves on keeping up to date with modern construction methods in a climate that has ever changing energy standards and keeping in touch with design trends. Through this continued professional development, we reflect our knowledge and experience through our pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love meeting new people and working with new customers, who we like to think become our friends. Our first step is to get to know each other a little - what type of work it is you're looking for, the styles you like and whether or not we're the right fit for you and your project. When a customer approaches us with their project, it is important that we see your vision exactly the way you do - sometimes it's not the right fit and we wouldn't try to continue the process knowing we wouldn't be 100% with the project. After finishing up our first meeting and getting our heads together on some ideas, we start working towards the finished design and the materials, moving through to the install/construction and the completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Coming from a background in carpentry, my interest in the science of building took me to university to study Architectural Technology. After graduating, this enabled me to not only build things but design them too, allowing for a complete design through to completion package for all aspects of remodeling and building.
