I bought a condo in Fairfield that needed extensive renovations ... it was original from the 70's. I had hired Murphy Bros. to fix some closet doors which he did an excellent job on . He and his crew continued on and helped me with the entire renovation! Jack is a pleasant college educated individual who seems to love his work as well as helping people out. If there was a job that he and his crew could not handle he found me the right subcontractor to do the job and saved me thousands of dollars. He also has a great eye for design ... he assisted me in the selection and purchase of materials and appliances, again cutting down on the total cost.
Jack and his crew are very thorough and clean. I would come home from work, and the place was spotless! I have referred Jack to many friends and business associates, and all have had similar experiences . I would highly recommend Murphy Brothers!

Mr. Murphy was refereed to me by a coworker. My Fiance and I live in a five bedroom 4 bath 3800 sq foot home in Stamford. We both are busy and needed help keeping our home clean. The first time he came to our house I was pleasantly surprised. At my door was a well spoken, good looking middle age man with a 50 ft extension cord in his hand.
We have 2 dogs so our floors can get pretty messy. I left for 3 1/2 hours and came back to a great surprise. Not only did Jack clean our house from top to bottom, but he did all the dishes and two loads of laundry (okay I admit he folds clothes like a guy). He changed all the sheets made our bath rooms shine and made our house spotless. The biggest surprise was when he was leaving he handed me a shoe box filled with all the things he found while he was moving the furniture and beds around to clean. In that box was a diamond stud earing that I had lost the month before that I thought was lost forever.
I highly recommend Jack and have to many of my friends!

I was referred to Jack by a business associate. I am a single corporate executive who does not have the time,patience or knowledge to keep up with all that needs to be done in my house. I originally hired Mr. Murphy to paint my great room.He did a wonderful job and completed it early and under my expected budget. After he finished that room it made the rest of my house look neglected. I really needed one of my bathrooms redone and I asked him for suggestions.The next day he was there with material samples cost estimates and time lines. After giving him the go ahead he promised that the job would be completed in a week. I had also received other quotes and no one else had such an ambitious time line. Jack and his band of workers cam in on a Saturday morning took down all the old tiles and sheet rock and replaced my sub floor within a day.To my surprise all the materials were taken away on a Sunday morning . I was back showering by Wednesday evening. The cost of the job was 20% less than any other quote I received.I have used jack and his crew on many projects.He is easy to deal with honest and trust worthy and I would highly recommend him.

I own several rental properties in the area. This past June I had a tenant move out mid month in the middle of the night. Not only that but they basically trashed the place and left many things behind. I was refereed to jack by my lawyer. I met with Mr.Murphy the next day and was quite surprised that he said he could turn the property around in 8 days.Not only did it need to be cleaned up but it also needed to be totally repainted. His crew did such a great job on the deep clean that I almost delayed the paint job. Needless to say I went forward and completed the repainting but Jack showed me several ways to cut down on my costs. Jack and his crew had my place turned around in 7 days and I was able to raise the rent by 15% on my property because of his work. Now when I need things done I elusively use him and I would recommend him to you.
