Introduction: Compassionate organizing is my speciality. Having someone helping you go through your things can be emotionally difficult. My strength is gentle encouragement with a sense of humor to help minimize the stress that often accompanies sorting your belongings. The thing that makes Trish different is that she doesn't just clean up, she can actually see what underlying organizational or spatial dilemmas are causing the untidiness. What Trish can offer you is beyond just some help cleaning and organizing, she's like a space therapist. She can help you see things in a room of your home that you may have never noticed before, or have just grown so used to that you need someone's keen eye for spatial relations to point them out. Trish is also just a kind person, and very fun to be around, so any time you have the opportunity to spend with her won't just be useful (and potentially transformative for your space) but enjoyable, too!

Trish did a FANTASTIC job helping me clear and organize my space. My basement and garage were major clutter zones. Trish made a plan for how to tackle all the stuff, and then put shoulder to the wheel and cleared it. At one point I had to focus on preparing a speech, and Trish carried on and cleared it by herself. I love having clear, neat space. I have been charging an hourly fee for services depending on the type of work needed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to begin by finding out what the customer's needs and priorities are. What is important to them as we go through the process? After discussion, we make a plan based on those priorities and begin implementing it according to the customer's needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background has been in physical therapy with a 20 year focus on ergonomics. During that part of my career I evaluated work places from offices to factories and helped improve the layout to make the environment easier and safer to work in. I also provided training programs across the USA on ergonomic topics. Currently I am working to gain enough documented hours of organizing to apply for my Certified Professional Organizer designation. I hope to be able to do that soon!
