Introduction: The Micah McCoy Studio story started over ten years ago, when a high school junior asked a high school sophomore to prom. Two proms, one marriage, two kids, and two awesome businesses later, Micah McCoy Studio is the collaboration of two things both Micah and Caitlin love: photos and stories. Micah McCoy began photography during his college years, and developed an appreciation for the great photojournalists and classic street photographers— whether he’s doing commercial work, covering weddings, shooting portraits, or completing personal projects, this documentary style influences the story his photos tell. Caitlin McCoy has been writing stories for anyone that would read them since middle school, and after a Journalism degree and agency work, she tells the stories that need to be told. Whether it’s website copy, print ads, or compelling articles and exhibits, she tries to bring stories to life in ways that connect with people. Photos and words are just the beginning of our story — and our story is based on the stories of so many others. Let’s tell yours.
