Introduction: It all started with me being very poor at algebra in high school. I struggled a lot, till I got an excellent tutor who kept using different approaches to get the information across till we found the right one. I ended up loving my arch nemesis (math) so much that I went on to get a 730 out of 800 in my SAT math and I've used the same approaches taught to me to help struggling students. Patience and extreme understanding are my best weapons because I not only know what it's like to struggle and overcome the mountain of learning, I actually was that person till I was shown the way.
I loved tutoring so much, that when I graduated, I continued tutoring these subjects for a few years enjoying every minute of watching my students discover the beauty of these subjects . I have found that the foundation is the key to build on for the more difficult aspects of any subject, so I am thorough in evaluating and teaching my students understanding of the basics starting from the foundation of both subjects.
