It was a pleasure working with Justin. He was very thorough and made sure he got our shelves down to the exact size, type of wood and color that we wanted. The fact that he didn't charge us extra for supplies was a breath of fresh air. Most contractors will double your price simply from charging you more for supplies. But he didn't. He bought them at his cost and we just paid him for his time and hard work. We absolutely love our floating shelves that he created for our living room. It was exactly what we wanted and he got it done quicker than we thought too! We'll definitely be hiring him to do a few other projects in our house like creating the mud room and fixing a light in our kitchen.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A lot of times I feel it is most honest to just charge an hourly rate and have the customer pay for supplies thereby giving them a chance to have input on cost of materials and not feel as if they are being taken advantage of.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet them and discuss what they are wanting and provide options or suggestions that they may not have thought of and come to an agreement.
