FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are fair and are either lower or comparable to any other window cleaning company in the area. I am very focused on making sure I give the lowest price possible with out cutting any corners.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I meet a new customer I try to educate them on the proper practices and procedure of how a professional window cleaner cleans glass. On a residential project I first open up the windows and wipe out all the dirt and debris in the window sills and on the window frames. This is usually done with a handheld or miniature vacuum cleaners and small track brushes to ensure I get in all the small spaces in the frame. Then I proceed to detailing the glass inside and out with hand held tools. Lastly I clean all screens and reassemble the window and do a final walk through to double check all of our work with the customer. On a commercial project all is the same procedure except for opening the windows because most commercial glass is stationary.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I helped my brother establish his window cleaning business in 2003 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. There we built a window cleaning and pressure washing business that did very well until the recession in 2008. He was able to keep the business going but to make some cut backs and in 2010 I left the company to go in to the food industry. After several year of working in multiple kitchens I am ready to get back to my passion of cleaning glass. I the last few years I have work for some prominent North Carolina window cleaning companies part time. I have worked in every field of window cleaning from high rise to residential to commercial and construction clean up. I have learned multiple streak free techniques in order to restore your windows to a brand new state.
