FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on the job that is presented by the customer, therefore I urge customers to provide as many details and photos as possible when creating their job. It is unfortunately easy to overbid as well as underbid a job when you don’t have all the information. I think I speak for most providers when I say that we prefer to know exactly what the job involves, so for our benefit and yours, please provide photos and as many details as possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to make initial contact and make the customer feel comfortable working with me, followed by getting all of the details and photos of the job as possible so that I can feel good about giving a firm quote and getting the job completed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently in class to become a licensed Home Inspector in the state of Maryland. I also have had formal training with ladders, climbing, asbestos, cpr, first aid, electrical safety, safe driving, and more. Formal education has its place but there is no better way to learn than by doing. I’ve been a homeowner since the age of 21 and have always made my own repairs from hot water heaters to electrical to well pumps and more. I enjoy learning new skills and also have extensive training in communications technology including low voltage wiring and cabling and troubleshooting as well as automotive repair knowledge. I went through a 2 year technical school for automotive technology as well.
