- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer flexible fees, depending on the type of work the client needs and whether it is litigated or not. Generally speaking non-litigated matters are charged at a flat fee and litigated matters at an hourly rate. My rates are extremely competitive given the number of years in practice and my experience.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will discuss the case with the client via phone at first and we will then determine whether an in office consultation is required. Depending on the type of case, I might ask the client to complete a questionnaire with all the information I will need in order to provide the correct estimate for the work to be done and acquire all the documents or information necessary to complete the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two law degrees, one from Brazil and one from Florida. I also speak Portuguese and can assist clients who need someone who speaks their language and understands their culture. I am constantly improving my skills with continued legal education courses as well.
