Michelle is excellent and I'd recommend her to anyone that's looking for a resume writer. Not once did I doubt that my resume would be anything else but great and I was correct. During our introductory phone call, Michelle explained her method of crafting resumes and customizing them to fit each client. Plus, her response time to any of my questions or suggestion was extremely quick. Michelle's passion and knowledge on what it takes to enhance and highlight certain skills to garner the best resume results are A-1. She's detailed, thorough, creative, knowledgeable, receptive to input (and encourages it), accessible, passionate, and professional. I am beyond happy with the outcome of my resume and cover letter, and I know that great things are in store for me. Thank you, Michelle, for all of your hard work and for the added boost of confidence in my new job search! You're amazing!

I enjoyed working with Michelle! She is very personable and goes the extra mile to deliver a great product. The position I was applying for was posted almost a week earlier than expected, and Michelle was able to complete my resume and cover letter days earlier than agreed upon. The cover letter and resume she created were both amazing!! I would definitely use her again in the future and highly recommend her service!!

About this pro

I am a Life and Career Coach serving individuals, couples and organizations.  I have 25 years of experience helping others make decisions about their lives and future and reach their goals: emotional, relational, professional, spiritual. My work with clients comes from a belief that as we discover and determine the truth about who we are and the design for our lives, our experience becomes the life we desire in both our personal and professional lives. Whether your need is within the context of a relationship, an area in your personal life, or challenges in your work, working toward being your best self is always going to help get you where you want to be! Everyone is unique and has something to offer. My joy comes from helping others discover what that is according to their own specific design and determine a clearer sense of purpose; sometimes for the first time, sometimes to go in a new direction. A measured life is one built of moments that reflect knowing who you are and living from that place, everywhere, with everyone, every time. We live on purpose. Intentionally. By design. The result is confidence, contentment, freedom, and fulfillment in every area of your life. I can help you get there. It IS possible! I am passionate about helping others discover and understand their personal uniqueness for a life of significance and impact. There's no reason not to enjoy every area of our lives. Sometimes we have to do a little work to get where we want to go, but it's completely worth the investment. We all know we get out of something what we put into it. You're worth it, so invest in YOU and experience the life you actually want and are meant to have. I enjoy coaching in areas of identity and purpose, emotional health, relational fulfillment, career direction, and leadership development. Everyone at some point in their lives wants to make a change; they may feel stuck or want to make a major course correction but don’t know how to do it. As a coach, I can come alongside and inspire, challenge, and offer insight that serves as the tipping point for moving forward and achieving results. There is always something going on in our lives and our work: stress and overwhelm, relationship strains, separation or divorce, anxiety and insecurities, overcoming negative habits, dealing with grief, health issues, or considering a job change. We may face any or all of these at some point in our lives. I can help those who need it, when they need it, so people feel healthy and thrive right where they are or where they want to be!

Q & A

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to create pricing systems that are affordable and also reflect the value of what clients receive as a result of working with me. I offer a variety of services and the rates can vary depending on what they client is looking for. Offering the option of either individual, one-at-a-time sessions or packages over several weeks or months is a way to maintain some flexibility with client needs and help them remain committed to the progress of their desired goals. Packages offer discounts that make continued work more affordable. It’s worth the investment because the payoff shows when your life is balanced and you’re living and working in your “sweet spot!”
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Developing a comfortable, strong rapport is very important to me. If clients are going to share their life issues, trust is the single most important factor in developing a great coaching relationship. When working with a new client, I spend sufficient time understanding who he or she is, where they are currently, and where they want to go. Each person and every situation is unique so we work collaboratively on client goals so they can get where they need to be. I like practical! Different people have different needs, but one thing is the same: everyone wants results. Talking about what we want to change is great, but taking practical steps toward what we want is the only way we'll get it. I like to help people do something so they see actual changes in their lives and movement toward their goals. That said, pacing is important. Since every situation is unique, the time it takes to accomplish things can differ. Pacing your steps in the process is key. You move as fast or slow as you need to at any point in the process. Whatever pace you need, I can keep you moving at the right one for YOU! Not too fast. Not too slow. Just right to get what you need and want!
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology/Audiology. While I'm not a practicing speech therapist anymore, there are elements of how I serve others that remain. A large part of that work is assessment and understanding where a client is currently. Knowing the reality of where you are helps determine what comes next. Though specific to language and communication needs, there exists a desire for change and transformation, which is exactly what I do now; partnering with clients to help them achieve their goals and see real change in their lives. Change that will impact them in a positive way. I'm a natural encourager. Helping others is second nature and the gift of seeing what is possible for them brings hope, healing, and the change they are looking for! My Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling shaped much of how I work with others. Matters of the head and heart can be difficult to manage alone; sometimes we need outside insight and perspective. Developing an understanding of healthy thoughts and emotions makes all the difference in how we think and feel about ourselves and others. Healthy thinking is critical and I can help people develop that. When we have a healthy mind, we develop healthy emotions, which in turn allows us to make healthy decisions, leading to healthy behaviors. It all works together...and starts with how we think! Pursuing Life/Leadership Coaching coursework brought home the process of setting clear, healthy goals to achieve desired results. Coaching focuses on what’s good and right and uses it to move a client forward toward what they want. It helps overcome obstacles preventing progress; removing those things that get in the way of achieving what’s possible. In a word…transformation. Each component of my training prepared me to help others get from where they are to where they want to be, whether it is in developing positive habits, overcoming stress, strengthening relationships, performing better in their jobs, or writing a resume for a new one. Change is possible and worth the work to make it happen!
