I have worked with Gabriel for my graduation trip to Alaska with my wife. Since I and my wife have taken photoshoots every summer to celebrate ourselves, we have worked with various professional photographers. Based on my experience with Gabriel, I would like to strongly recommend him to someone who wants to make unforgettable memories in the middle of Alaska's beautiful nature view. He has been very responsive from end to end and did not hesitate to provide detailed information from the beginning. During the photoshoot session, he showed passion to help us get as many photos as possible so that we were able to get the most value out of the money and time we spent. He was also very flexible when we suggested particular poses that we wanted to try. After the session, he sent us the completed photos quicker than he guaranteed, and... "Wow!". This was my and my wife's first reaction to the photos. Photos are incredibly satisfying and beyond our expectations. No need to say more words. Just contact him right away and he will help you with the professionalism and expertise he definitely has.

My husband and I definitely enjoyed working with Gabe for our gender reveal! The meeting before our session was very helpful to know what to expect from him as well as letting him know what we were looking for. He was willing to drive a little out of the way for the location we picked and was even prepared and willing to work in the rain for us! His trainee/helper was also very great to work with on location! She added in some nice ideas we hadn't thought of for images/poses in the portrait portion after the reveal. We got the edited images online a lot sooner than we had expected to wait which was a great surprise, and that did not compromise in any way the great quality of the edits! We were very comfortable working with him during the session so that we were all able to enjoy the excitement of the moment. We are also VERY pleased with the work he did for us! He was a great photographer to work with and did some awesome work for us! Long review, I know, but I wanted to be sure to get all of my positive thoughts in there! Thank you again Gabe!

2 years ago, When my husband bought a new Canon T6i , I finally thought it was time to take those lessons and stop relying on the auto mode. Pricing is based around the event/photos desired. Because every event is unique, the prices may vary.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Trust is one of the most important things for a client and the photographer. While repeat clients may not be required to pay the retainer fee up front, newly established clients most likely will need to pay the fee well in advance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Gabriel King is a landscape and portrait photographer based in the Interior of Alaska. He is the recipient of the 2018 Ted Stevens Foundation ‘Denali at 100’ award and was published in the September 2017 issue of Alaska Magazine. Gabriel is originally from Ohio where he took photography classes in high school. He came to Fairbanks, Alaska with the US Army in 2016, capturing photographs of Alaska ever since.
