- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing system is either event-based (i.e. wedding ceremony) or hourly. Additional fees may apply for peak times, stairs, outdoor performances, mileage, move to 2nd location or other special circumstances. The price includes a consultation. There is a 50% non-refundable deposit. The balance of the price is due 7 days before the event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is a consultative process. First, basic information is exchanged: date, time, place, occasion, number of guests, the kind of music. Second, the particulars: special requests for music or attire, harp access to the venue, parking, which will help me reach an exact quote. Then, agreement in contractual form that includes the above. Finally, the event. I strive for maximal clarity and have found that more communication, affirmation and verification is better than less.
