Certified Chimney Inspections

Certified Chimney Inspections is amazing! We wanted to install a wood stove in our house and we have no chimney. Bryan and Jamie came over, helped us choose a good corner for it and helped us pick a stove. Then they came back and installed it. They are supremely conscientious, knowledgeable, friendly, funny and efficient. I would recommend them without hesitation.Dec 20, 2016Verified

Incredible pricing when I was getting quotes for $300+ more from everyone else. They came on time, inspected the chimney of our new to us house, and quickly cleaned it all within a half hour. They cleaned up fairly well afterwards, did have to wipe down the tile around the fireplace, but for the price who cares.Mar 10, 2018Verified
I had a good experience with Certified Chimney. Unfortunately, due to no fault of their own, our fireplace was built such that it cannot be cleaned and inspected without different specialized equipment. Their response time, estimated cost, and knowledge were excellent so for that I would recommend them.Feb 26, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?A basic cleaning is $99.95. Repairs cannot have standard pricing, as the height of the chimney and the severity of the damage must be taken into consideration. We offer to beat any written estimate by 10%.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? In almost all cases, our technicians will come to the home and begin with an inspection of the chimney, internal and external. If they find any issues during their inspection, they will alert the homeowner as to (a) the issue in question, (b) the severity and (c) what steps the homeowner should take to remedy the situation. If no issues are noted, they will proceed with the sweeping of the flue. If, for any reason, the flue cannot be swept, they will notify the homeowner as to why this is the case.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? All our technicians are CSIA certified. They are able to complete all facets of chimney work with expertise, from a simple cleaning and inspection to major repairs.
