FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I really strive to give value. I also understand that customers use a service like Thumbtack to get great service at great prices so I take that into account in my pricing. For certain services, my prices may be a tad higher, but my results speak for themselves. I am a true professional and my customers enjoy the benefit of my exceptional service and high-quality products.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I enjoy working with all types of people when I feel I can add value. I value my customers' time so I like to work quickly and thoroughly to deliver what they need. I start by discussing their need(s) with them and determining whether I am the best pro for their project and move on quickly to map out the scope of our project and outline the deliverables so that my customers can accurately measure my performance on their project. As most of my customers prefer an ongoing engagement, I also find out how they prefer to communicate with me and how often they'd like updates. I do whatever it takes to deliver on time, on-budget and to make their engagement pleasurable and hassle-free. My goal is always to exceed expectations and to have them come back to me whenever I may be of service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an excellent professional background and I bring all of my skills and experience to the table for my customers. I am SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certified as well as an experienced attorney. Though I have top-notch legal and executive credentials, I really enjoy presentation work and speaking engagements, which sometimes throws customers because they wonder why I would want to do that type of work given my background. Truth is, I simply like it. I have my own company now, so I am able to incorporate work that I enjoy along with the highly compensated work that pays the bills.
