FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For customers who are in reactive mode and are experiencing an active issue such as a leaking roof, we have our Max Service Cost Guarantee. This program guarantees a ceiling rate for your service call. That means your call will never exceed our quote, and it is often LESS! We have four levels of Max Service Cost depending on the severity of the leak, as determined by our experts over the phone. For our Maintenance customers who are taking a proactive stance, we have multiple programs to get your roof under regular maintenance depending on your warranty status and your service level needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss the project with our new customers over the phone, and schedule a time for one of our experienced crews to be at your site to perform all requested maintenance. Our crew will arrive promptly, introduce themselves, go over the requirements and expectations, and proceed with the maintenance paying special attention to cleanliness and completeness. Once the job is complete, the foreman will provide a detailed checklist and summary of any work completed and now under warranty with Bay Quality Service. The foreman will also document and point out any areas of concern that were not addressed as part of the maintenance program and should be an alert for further investigation. These are things such as: • Worn or cracked boots around vent pipes, chimneys, skylights, etc. • Missing shingles, tiles • Rust on flashings, or damaged or missing caulking • Excessive granules in the gutters • Clogged drains and downspouts
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We hold a general contractor license with additional licenses for painting and roofing who pioneered cool roof technology for commercial buildings in California in 1999 and have installed and currently maintain over 67,000,000 SF of roofs around California.
