- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing for junk removal is based entirely off of the volume that is used. While we do offer single- and multi-item pickup starting at $89, the vast majority of junk removal jobs tend to fall into the volume category. We price volume as follows: 1/4 trailer - $189 1/2 trailer - $289 3/4 trailer - $389 Full trailer - $489 One of our trailers, when full, can hold a 10x15 storage unit. For moving/labor services, we charge $150 for the first hour when we need to rent equipment (moving van, etc.) and our labor rate is $75/hr for two team members.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After getting some basic information about the customer, we like to find out what the scope of their problem is. This helps us identify the volume of their junk that needs to be removed and what equipment we might need to bring. We always offer free in-person estimates and we offer to come prepared to tackle the job if the customer likes our price and wants to move forward. We always approach a new customer as a friend, with no pressure to hire us. Our approach is to offer a solution at a fair price. We respect that customers sometimes need time to consider their options or get support from their loved one before making a decision.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have extensive management experience and problem-solving strategies from the military. I am also a business major and have many years of experience in marketing and sales.
