Introduction: I provide vocal lessons based upon Bel Canto principles of singing--a vocal technique that has lasted and proven effective for about 400 years.
I also use the Piano Adventures curriculum to teach beginning and intermediate piano students to excel in piano.
Students who apply themselves and practice make significant progress, and it is a joy to see them growing and becoming all that they can be.
I enjoy the relationships that inevitably develop with people and the way I am able to mentor my students.

Dr. Davis is my piano instructor and has been for the past two years. Attempting to make steps towards my personal goal of being fluent in piano, I saw an ad for Dr. Davis's piano lessons and decided to go for it! I was not and have not been disappointed since! Dr. Davis is a wonderful teacher and has not only been a fantastic instructor, but a hardworking role model in my life. After some time of getting to know him by student and teacher, he teaches in a way that builds off of exactly where you are in your piano skill (such as the complete piano beginner I started as) and in your life as well. I am in college at the University of Georgia pursuing a difficult degree, and piano unfortunately has taken the backseat for me a few times. Regardless, Dr. Davis has taught me in a way that has changed pace with the chaos of my school life and has encouraged me to continue pursuing piano no matter how crazy life gets. He is a very fair and understanding instructor and works with your schedule as well (I have had to miss a few lessons in the last two years due to personal issues and Dr. Davis was understanding and accommodating in re-scheduling!) Overall I truly enjoy taking piano with Dr. Davis and plan to continue to! My passion for music has grown in numerous ways and Dr. Davis's musical knowledge has encouraged me to practice more and even compose! Remember though, Dr. Davis wants to help the person who is honest in their interest to learn for the betterment of themself. He is an absolutely wonderful supplement to your own desire to learn piano but cannot be a direct substitution for the practice you need to put in to make progress! This is one of the biggest lessons I've learned from Dr. Davis and in turn studying piano under him as helped me as a student in college as well! My management of time has improved and the same work ethic needed to progress in piano has translated directly over to my school work!
