Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have been training dogs for over 30 years. I am a retired teacher. I know how to teach owners how to train their dogs and help them to understand their behavior. I have three locations... one in Gahanna at Agility and Rally for Fun (ARF) on Sunday nights, a location at Big Walnut Animal Care Center in Westerville/Galena area on Thursday nights and one in Clintonville at Beechwold Veterinary Clinic on Monday nights. I also do in home visits and consultations for behavior modification and training. I offer private lessons in many venues. I hope you will contact me to train your dog! I was the first trainer in the Central Ohio area to use positive reinforcement to teach and modify behaviors. I was the first to offer puppy classes in the area as well. I recognize the impact of early learning. My favorite part of my job is that a make a difference one dog at a time. I began training dogs because people needed a training class that met the needs of pet owners that uses methods pet owners prefer. They also needed to understand how to effectively modify their dogs' behavior. I love to watch the dogs build confidence and master their exercises with pride!

Our Bernese Mountain Dog (1.5 yrs old) began her training as a lively but somewhat out-of-control dog...She was good at 'sit,' but that was about all. By the end of a series of weekly classes, she is MUCH improved and a real joy to take for walks because she knows how to listen to me and understand her commands. I really like the training methods because the dog is never pushed, and is not punished if it doesn't understand a command right away. Everything is made exciting and encouraging to the dog, and it makes a huge difference in how it responds. The positive reinforcement is great and leaves both my dog and me with a good feeling at the end of each class. Very happy with the training methods used and thrilled with what a good girl our Berner is turning out to be. She's always had a great personality but now it really shines with her excellent behavior.
