- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Currently Computer, Phone and Tablet Repairs Max out at $40 labor in Shop. Parts are extra. Repeat customers, first responders, active duty military, teachers and senior citizens get 10% off labor. Estimates are $15. Other Electronics vary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask what the problem is and what they expect out of the repair. I inform them of any possible consequences of any repair for example data loss. I give them a complete explanation of cost, warranty information, time to complete and repair issues in writing and give them a receipt for there device.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am mostly self trained but have received vocational training as well. I interned as a Bio-Medical Electronics Engineering assistant. I am a certified test technician in ground based avionic antennas. I am certified in Mil 2000 Soldering. I have been working with computers since the Atari 800 and 8086/ Dos 3.0 era. I have been interested in electronics since Junior High. I'm the kid other kids would have there car stereos installed by. I am just as interested now 30+ years later.
