FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My session fee is $295 which includes a $40 print credit. Print prices start at $5 for a 4x6. Clients typically spend several hundred dollars in prints and products often with a few large wall portraits or prints on canvas or wood which average $200-$300 for the most popular sizes
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We often initiate through email or Facebook. I then like to do a quick phone consult to discuss what the client is looking for and talk about dates, time and location for their shoot as well as any special needs and likes or dislikes. Once we choose a date, I follow up with an email confirmation and online invoice to place a 50% deposit. On the day of the session, we spend 1-2 hours at one or more locations of the client's choice capturing a mix of posed and candid images. About 2 weeks later, we get together to go through the proofs and decide which the client would like to order as prints after which (or by request before deciding), I put the images through a final print ready editing process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am partly self educated in addition to having taken various courses but have received most of my training through working for a wedding photographer.
