Marilyn, opened for us when we had our one and only house concert. She did a wonderful job, singing, playing and telling stories. She connected to the people in the room. I think if we were to have a house concert again, Marilyn would now be a head liner as she's more seasoned and has a lot of more material in her repertoire.Mar 27, 2017

Marilyn played a community event for us in Hudson. The crowd loved her...especially her rendition of These Boots Are Made For Walking. She is extremely talented and knows how to work a crowd. We want her at our next event.Feb 11, 2017
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Depending on the circumstances, I generally ask for $30-50 an hour, more if you want me to include my amazing guitar player, Rick Warren (I recommend that!!!). If you prefer to pass the hat to your guests and/or do a House Concert format with a 'suggested donation' from your guests, we can discuss that
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We would discuss your vision for your event. Do you want music in the background or music as a break from other activities? We can do either. You can pick your set list from my available songs and/or I can learn a song or two (depending on my lead time) to perform at your event. I have amplification for small or large events.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have taken lessons in voice, guitar and performance and frequently attend conferences designed to increase my skills at giving my audience a good time!
