Marshall did a great job repairing our exterior wood door and side panels. The side panel was dry rotted on the bottom and had a large hole. There was also a broken pane and of glass that he replaced. He did excellent work replacing the rotted part and my door is working like new.

Details: Exterior door (e.g. front door, patio door) • 1 door • Sliding door (like an exterior patio door) • Glass • Yes, the new door replaces an existing door • No, I would like the pro's help in purchasing the door • Install new trim around the door • Home

Marshall Carpentry delivered. Needed rotten porch railings replaced on both sides and top of a brick porch with six steps as part of preparation to put the house up for sale. Marshall and his son got the job done fast at a reasonable price, working to hold costs down. Hauled away the old stuff. The result is a little rough, not a finished look, but I'll sand the scruffy parts and repaint and it will be good to go. Update Oct. 24, 2018: Nothing like painting to get "up close and personal" with a workpiece. I thought I could sand out some rough edges on these porch railings, apply a good quality paint and end up with a presentable finished product. Wrong. The wood used for this was so rough, and the painting so poor, that I ended up spending hours filling gaps and knot holes, caulking and painting (dodging unfavorable weather too) that I came to the conclusion that the $800 I spent was way too much. Wish I had built the thing myself. I hope the buyer of this house won't pay too much attention to the railings.

Details: Repair significant wood rot or water damage • Wood • Residential

Marshall fixed a broken couch in the waiting area of my office. He was prompt and courteous. All in all, I am generally pleased with his work. I just wished he had covered my hardwood floors before starting the work (to prevent scratches) and cleaned up after his work was done. I would use him again, however, for general carpentry needs.

Details: I need help with one project or a few simple projects, less than 2 hours of work • Repairs • Living room • Furniture repair • Commercial • I'm ready to hire the right handyman based on price & fit

Mr. Marshall is a great guy, understood the job we have and responded appropriately. He has a great understanding of building and design. Great to work with. We are using Mr. Marshall again in the near future to complete the project we have going on. It's not an easy project, we are cleaning up the mess another Builder/Contractor left me.
