- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Hear them out, how they want their project to turn out or if they need any advise on it see if I'm any help, take some advise as well because in any type of business we are always going to learn something new, give them a quote and get to work a soon as they decide...
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Been around this type of work since I was about 5 yrs old my Grandpa who is now RIP did masonry. I used to live in Dallas TX growing up aorund 9 yrs of age my brothers were tile installers since as well, always took me with them on weekends or afternoons to help bring in tools, mix thinset, bring in material and clean up afterwards. My God father from El Campo Tx does masonry and tile installation as well... I've just been around it, seen it done and hands on always, and I like the art involved in installing it, just a couple of years back I started doing small jobs with a friend of mine, than last year started doing jobs for a company out of Dallas Tx and went around the states from job to job, now I'm back home with my kids, that's why now I'm on my own for now and as well as the people that work with me have done it for years...
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Mainly haven't dealt with customers other than the superintendents at each job site that I went to install tile at, did a lot of commercial sites, other than that, the side jobs I have done over time all the customers have been great...
