FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically, my pricing is at a flat rate of $50 for the first hour plus parts if they are needed. Each hour after that is discounted to $35. The reason I discount to $35 per hour is that I want to keep customer costs low, and I want my customers to choose me the next time they need something done. That being said, most jobs only take me an hour so many of my clients are happy to find out that they only have to pay $50 for most of my services unless parts are needed. I stand by my work and I want to make sure my customers are happy with my work before I leave their location. However, due to the fact that I can repair a great deal of different things I am always willing to work on pricing with my customers so that we can reach a price point we can agree on to get the job done and make both of us satisfied. To be blunt, I make sure my clients are happy by being flexible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After being hired, I do whatever I can to accommodate my customer. Often times customers may be concerned about having a person they do not know coming into their home or office. I understand and empathize with this, so if my customer would like to grab a cup of coffee out in public while I work on their laptop I certainly don't mind. After we meet, whether it be at the customer's home/office/other location, I diagnose and fix whatever issues I can within the first hour. If it takes longer, each hour after that is charged at a discounted rate. If there is a job that has no solution other than to buy a replacement, I do not charge any labor past the first $50. I stand by my work,I refuse to overcharge, I do not stop until a resolution is reached, and I am always available to my customers after the job is finished should they have any other questions, issues, or anything else that needs some help.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Business Information Systems at Virginia Commonwealth University. I took what I had been teaching myself since the age of 12, added college to it, and then brought it out into the real world with great and continued success. I'm always excited to be doing what I've been learning for most of my life.
