Introduction: I'm a bass player, jazz composer and arranger. I am a Berklee alumnus with a performance and jazz composition major. I have been giving music lessons for a decade. I give bass lessons for beginners and and for those who already know how to play but want to improve their level. I also give music theory lessons, including jazz harmony, arranging and ear training. I work with children and adults. I speak English and Russian.
I take my job very seriously and do 100% to make sure that my students get what they want and what they need from my classes. In learning a new song, working on different styles or making first steps in music theory, it is my job to make it a great experience for you.

I never expected a first lesson to turn into 2 and a half hours. This was the first time a teacher has been able to keep me focused for so long. Misha has a great passion about music and is flexible enough to accommodate many different tastes in music and is knowledgeable in what he does.

Misha is a fabulous bass teacher! He incorporates all aspects of learning in each lesson (timing, music theory, learning to read music), creating a strong foundation in the instrument. I am very impressed with his work with our 14 year old son!
