Introduction: I LOVE working one on one with students, finding their natural learning styles, and strengths and using those to shore up areas they are weaker in. I believe everyone can learn and that learning can and should be fun!
I have 17 years of experience tutoring in math, reading, English and study skills and have thoroughly enjoyed every student I've worked with. One on one learning is powerful and focused.
As mentioned above, I love to find the uniqueness of each student, see where they are strong and where they struggle and tag team those qualities for growth. I LOVE learning, the brain, the use of multidisciplinary methods to open up avenues for learning. Teaching has always been a joy to me.

Mrs. King has become a delightful part of our homeschool routine. My boys love to work with Mrs. King because she is such an encourager! She is able to explaining material in a way that makes understanding a subject easy and fun. She has a wonderful gift of true compassion for others that can only be matched by the joy she shares with those around her. I highly recommend her services to others. Mrs. King has given my oldest son the confidence that he needed to push through a tough time in his academics. Our second son is such a visual thinker that he struggles to stay on task...Mrs. King has taken him on and is helping him develop ways to stay more focused on a task along with sharpening his math skills! She is always up for a challenge and she loves to help young people understand that they too have purpose and skills that only need to be sharpened! What a blessing she has been to our family!
