Susan's healing practice presently consists of integrating therapies that are applied to suit the wellness and healing for each individual client. Yoga as Therapy (private session), Restorative Yoga (private session) Reiki Energy Balance and intuitive guidance are the foundations of Susan's private sessions. The goal is to create less dis-ease and increase the relaxation response so the body is better able to connect to its own innate healing. As the client and therapist gain consistent work these healing modalities have the potential for creating a profound healing difference in body and mind. The body and mind then have more opportunities to respond to stressors encountered daily. Benefits are connection to your innate healing, relaxation, calm, focus, clarity, strength and flexibility. Susan is a RYT200 Yoga Professional. Her Private sessions will guide clients in aligning postures for strength, flexibility and integrating breath and Thai Yoga body work depending on each clients unique needs and goals. While assisting postures to establish refinement in their practice; she offers modification to postures for injuries and chronic overuse syndrome. Private sessions benefit those with a regular yoga practice and those who are new to yoga; creating their own unique practice for their body's needs and awareness to the mind body connection. Restorative Yoga is a beautiful practice for the beginning yoga student...as well as the seasoned student. This healing practice aids the student in refining the mind body connection. While being placed in yoga postures supported with blankets and bolsters, the body releases tension and finds the parasympathetic nervous system response. The postures are held up to 1- 5 mins. depending on the specific posture. A light guided meditation is enjoyed with moments of silence and soothing music. Each session deepens the relaxation and renews the mind body connection to further healing. Receiving and giving healing touch, connecting with my clients energy, and the healing that occurs from that connection, is extremely rewarding. My work allows me to facilitate the release of tension and stress in the body. Each session offers the opportunity for slowing down, being mindful and present in our busy daily lives allowing the" release" from our body; that which is no longer serving the greater whole of "being".

Susan has an intuitive sense of the imbalances in my body and she knows just where to press or hold or go deeper to release that restriction. I felt amazing afterwards. I highly recommend Susan for a caring, compassionate heart-centered approach to healing.
