- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The standard lesson is an hour long at $30, but I provide half hour lessons for those people with busier schedules for $20.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I start work with a new customer, I have an off-the-clock conversation to get a brief assessment of what exactly they are looking to achieve from these lessons, so as to give them the best possible result.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I come from a musical family and learned to love and appreciate music from a young age. By the time I learned how to play, everyone I knew who didn't play expressed a desire to learn to play an instrument, but did not think they could. After teaching many of my peers how to play, I started to receive compliments and was given feedback of being a great teacher. So I began charging for lessons, and the rest is history.
