FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing can be found on my website. Each session varies based on the number of subjects and how long I spend with the client. Also, there are extra charges for traveling (more than 25 miles), and if the client is interested in extra images above what it is included in their session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a customer reaches out to me in regard to a session. My first instinct is to narrow down the type of session that will be best for them and what specifically they are hoping to capture during our time together. I am very flexible and if one of my current "products" doesn't suit their photography needs then I work together with the customer to create a session specifically for what they're looking for. I correspond with most of my customers via email or phone. After determining the the type of session that will be best suited to fit their needs we then determine a date and time that the session will take place. Sunrise and sunset are the most ideal time of day for the lighting purposes. I typically have availability during the week (nights) and weekends.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I originally learned how to operate a camera when I was in high school. It may sound simple, but photographing in Manual Mode requires years of practice and dedication to capture sound, well-composed images. I also mentored under a popular photographer based out of Nebraska, Jillian Schernikau.
