Introduction: I love working in cosmetics! Every face is different and every day is a new challenge. The industry is always changing and growing, so it’s never boring or stagnant. The best part of my job is watching a woman’s eyes light up when she looks at herself in the mirror afterward. Seeing someone feel beautiful because of something I am passionate about doing is feels amazing. I have over seven years of cosmetics experience, and I am professionally trained through Estée Lauder and Clarins Cosmetics. Betty Artistry is ready to make everyone feel their best My goal is to help every woman discover her own beauty through enhancing what she already has physically and mentally. I do this by getting to know each of my clients personally so I can express who she is through my art.

Liz was our makeup artist on site for a live broadcast out of PAX West 2016 in Seattle. She was responsible for 7 on-stage and on-camera hosts over the course of 4 days, keeping them broadcast ready at all times. She was 100% professional, worked under an EXTREMELY abbreviated schedule, and managed to have everyone looking absolutely resplendent in much less time than we would have thought possible. We asked a LOT of LIz, and she totally delivered. She also did research prior to the event as to the look we were hoping for, and proactively confirmed that with us, resulting in a flawless execution of makeup for this broadcast. The hosts made a point to mention how much they loved her work, and we got many compliments as to their appearance. Her clean, beautiful style and airbrush techniques lend themselves well to this kind of show. We hope for the chance to work with Liz again soon and would recommend her unequivocally.

I used Elizabeth of Betty Artistry for a photo shoot where I was posing as the main character for a book cover. The story was based in the 1940s, so I needed a 40s inspired make-up job that would also make me look as flawless as I can look (not an easy task, as I am not actually a model and I'm a fairly rough 36-years old... I was only asked to pose because the book cover artist is a friend and pictured my face when he read the character). Elizabeth did an incredible job. I have had make-up done professionally 2 other times in my life (for weddings), both when I was much younger, and I have never looked as good as Elizabeth made me look. I was actually taken aback to look at myself. I felt like a movie star. I looked undeniably beautiful, and I couldn't even be falsely modest about it - not a feeling I've experienced much in my life. I took my first (and probably last) selfie of just myself. Not only all that, she was friendly, fun to work with, and super professional. God, where was this woman when I got married!?
