FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to meet with customer one on one before giving a price of project, that way I don't over bid or under price the project. I learned that talking to clients before pricing is the best way because when you can't see the area of project and customer can show and tell you exactly what they are wanting then you know what to get for them. That way your not assuming or guessing about things they don't need or want. Example: I need new cabinets for kitchen cabinets and I would like a price quote there is 10 all together top and bottom how much would you charge. This is the reason I don't like to give pricing before I see the work, you don't know the layout or the size of area. There's so many different ways a project can differ from another ,there is no two jobs alike or priced the same. I always want to give my customers what they want within there budget not on someone else's.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Letting customer tell us about what they are wanting us to do. Listening for details that they focus on where they may have doubt about a certain processes or what they can expect. Take notes of things that they request or timelines they need meet. When customer is finished telling you what they want and expect . I always pay attention to detail in every aspect of project . When I'm talking to clients about project I like for them to be involved throughout the project this always helps when they may not like a certain part of what they wanted and would like change it up a little to make it look nicer or maybe it doesn't fit the room like they thought. Letting customer know that they are your priority and this is about them and you want them to feel they have made all the right decision for their home. Always follow up when you are finished with job so client knows that you care about how they feel and take care of any problems or concerns they have.
