FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Seeing that all jobs are different, most pricing is dependent upon the specific job. At the time of presenting a proposal, if any questions arise, we will gladly walk you thorough how pricing works.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step in working with any client is typically a phone conversation to discuss the type of work needed. After we have any idea of what you are looking for, we can set up a time to meet and look at the property or project, or direct you to someone better fit if the job is not for us. At the onsite meeting, we will clearly discuss the scope of work in detail. Once we have a clear idea of what you are looking for, we will work up a quote and send via Thumbtack or email for review. If the quote is approved, we will move forward to scheduling.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner of GroundWorks attended NCSU for Turfgrass Management, Ornamental Horticulture, and Business. Aside from schooling, he worked for 5 years at a private country club working on the golf course, then moved to commercial landscaping working for the 2 largest companies in the country for approximately 10 years.
