Rev. Horton is an exceptional Minister. What sets her apart and above almost any spiritual person that I have met, and I have met and encounteed many, is that she combines her heart and care with her integrity and intelligence. "Debs" as I've come to call her, isn't purveying some pro-forma act of ministry. On the contrary, she approaches her work from the point of view of someone who is there to support you, guide you, and help you through your situation, no matter how difficult it is. She is spiritual in her approach, but draws from a wealth of experience in the real world that informs her intuition with insight and common sense, so that she can help you find practical solutions to the challenges in your life. I highly recommend her: you are in good, nurturing hands with Debs, and will be hard-pressed to find a more caring and more helpful Minister.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Rates are determined after interview. Will work on a sliding scale if client requires long-term Spiritual Consulting.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to set-up a telephone (or Skype/Facetime) appointment to get an idea of what my client(s) needs are. The second step would be to meet in-person to follow up.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduate of the New Seminary (a 2 year course given in-person) and became ordained at Cathedral of St. John the Divine in June 2000. Registered with the County Clerk's office in New York City and I am duly licensed to perform non-religious/non-denominational weddings, rituals, and to provide spiritual counseling. Also graduated from the 8 week intensive Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course in June of 2016.
