- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
BASIC PROJECT MILESTONES (Outline) The following are some basic (typical) project milestones: 1) Get Acquainted This includes a preliminary phone call and outline of the work to be done, the receipt of existing materials, and a follow-up call (based on the amount of material to be reviewed and any missing material to be newly sent). 1-2 days (based on the amount of material to be reviewed and scheduling of phone calls) 2) Interim Work Product Production This entails producing and sending drafts to the client for their review and comments; and then, revisions (iterations). A key element of this phase is receiving feedback and answers from the client on project-related questions. duration: this primarily depends both on the complexity of the project and the review response times of the client. 3) Final Project Work Product This is really the last part of #2 above. duration: based on final feedback, this is usually in the range of 24 hours. Note: The above is a standard basic work outline. In discussions with the client, more specific project milestones and timeframes can be agreed upon.
