FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge a flat hourly rate plus whatever supplies that are required to complete the job. I have most of the little things needed for most handyman jobs such as screws wire nuts etc that are normally included in the hourly rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to go to the house or apartment to see what needs done. Give a good estimate for the time that I think it will take to do the job. Most of the time I'm within a half hour give or take of the quoted time. As of this date I have never charged someone if the job went over 30 minutes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I used to build houses when I was in college in Virginia and completely remodelled my house that was built in 1914. I have also remodelled 2 other houses since I have retired. I attended numerous military schools and deployed numerous times to the Persian Gulf. I am now retired with 35 years of service.
