FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For voice over production I charge by the word count for non-commercial productions. For broadcast spots I charge depending on distribution. For video production I charge a flat hourly rate for editing and for video shooting and field production work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask questions. I listen. I gain as much preproduction information as possible (script/outline/discussion) and then formulate a quote and discuss guidelines and schedule. For first time clients (if the project is large) I do require a small percentage of the project fee as a deposit otherwise I collect upon project completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in professional multimedia and voice over production for over 30 years. For over 2 decades I worked for other companies. During the last 5 years I have operated my own production business.
