Introduction: I have been tutoring for more than 9 years. I started tutoring when I was in high school and continued during my years at my community college, and now, I continue to tutor while attending UF College of Pharmacy. I have worked with students of wide age range as well as backgrounds in education. Because I went to community college, I had the fortunate opportunity to work with older students as well as younger students. I believe my unique skill set will help you or your children perform better in the classroom. Subjects that I can tutor are: Calculus I & II, Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Physics, Pre-calculus, Algebra, Statistics, Trigonometry, SAT, ACT, PCAT (96th percentile). The aspect of my work that I enjoy the most is when I see the Eureka or satisfied expression on the face of the students that I tutor. I take a lot of pride in my work. I always come prepared for each session, and personally, I enjoy helping another person become smarter and successful in his/her studies.

I took Calculus 2 over summer at GPC. I received an A in Calc 1, but Calc 2 was a little too much for me to handle. George was very professional, clear, and straight to the point when he was tutoring me. I recommend George for any students that need to catch up on materials and even students who has a good foundation because he explain in a very easy way to understand.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a base price of $30 per hour for tutoring in one subject. Any additional subjects with be an additional charge of $5 per subject.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor in Chemistry and currently working on a PharmD degree at UF College of Pharmacy Jacksonville Campus. I am a board certified tutor.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began tutoring when I was in highschool. I worked for a company called New Horizons throughout highschool and well into my college years. I then started working for Georgia State University tutoring program before becoming a private tutor.
