Joe Sugrue's Music Lessons

Introduction: Hi I'm Joe! I'm a graduate of the Berklee College of Music where I studied saxophone, bass guitar, and composition/arranging. I have experience in teaching those instruments, as well as piano and drumset, and while at Berklee was a tutor for composition and theory for the college. Whatever you'd like to learn I'd like to teach; sight reading, music theory, how to play all specific genre's of music, or just how to jam! Music to me does not have to be a competition, (although if you'd like to compete, that's great and I can prepare you to do that!) but can be simply about learning and having fun. Music, first and foremost, is something that should be enjoyed. I love helping my students to a further understanding of their instrument/musical goal, answering any questions they may have, and ultimately encouraging folks to pursue whatever musical direction they want to pursue. The lesson is not about me--it's about you!
