- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most prices are dependent on the breed, size of pet, condition of coat, and if special services are needed. Also, your location determines the travel fee. Most of my prices are standard and basic without additional add-on services like teeth brushing, and do not include a travel fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know the pet initially , feel on him or her and assess their needs. I also partner with the parent to ensure all desired services are performed. In home grooming allows for fixes to be made also versus the pet not being entirely how you desire.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started out interning at Petsmart in 2011. From there, I worked at a small salon that was more personable and allowed me to focus more on the grooming skill versus quantity of grooms. Once reaching a certain level of confidence and clientele, I decided to partner with other companies and assist as well as offer a service that is convenient for parents and less stressful for pets. Annually I take continued education courses and have become Pet CPR and First Aid certified as well as semi permanent color certified !
