Introduction: Hi Dog Moms’ and Dads’ of the Kansas City metro area. I’m a seasoned groomer with 20 plus years of experience in grooming and also animal healthcare and handling. I have certifications in salon safety and animal first aid and training in coat types and skin issues as well. I have some available spots coming up for housecall grooming (clean up included)and I DO NOT USE A VAN. I have everything that I need to groom your dog beautifully. I just need an area to groom with protection from the sun and access to an outlet. I use the very best line of shampoo and conditioner and take a holistic approach to grooming. I believe in using a gentle hand and a patient heart and my goal is to provide a good grooming experience for the dogs, along with a convenient service for their owners. If your dog has anxiety or stress related to grooming, housecall grooming is the answer. It saves the dog the added stressors of the car ride to the salon and the salon environment it’s self. I’m finding that most dogs respond well to being groomed at home and I’m enjoying every minute of this new adventure. Give it a try and book an appointment with me. My dog has an extremely thick undercoat and very long hair. No groomer has ever been able to cut his hair in the way that Stefanie did today. He looks so good like a show dog now! We will definitely be returning to Stefanie!

Final prices will be determined after meeting the dog and determining the amount of time and work involved.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have release forms depending on the dogs age, health, and coat conditions for owners to sign amd also collect some general information for my records. We will discuss options amd prices.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained by a master groomer in 1999 and have been working as a groomer since. I’ve worked in salons and veterinary offices and also at corporate pet food store for a short time where I received additional training on pet first aid amd salon safety. I keep up on the latest styles and techniques and take advantage of opportunities for continuing education.
