Introduction: I love writing, and I love helping people edit their writing, seeing the joy they experience as I refine their hard work. I have edited very dry technical papers for oil and gas professionals, and I even enjoyed this, especially when the author is not a native English speaker and I am able to help them make their work easier to understand. They have a result they are proud to present. I also love teaching, I am a retired teacher with Texas lifetime certifications in Special education, ESL/Spanish, and elementary education up to grade 8. I have one client whose gifted sixth grader experienced failure for the first time this past school year, and the commercial tutoring services she hired only confused and frustrated the student. I was able to help her attain her goal: raise her average in Algebra from a 33 to an A by December, and finish the school year recently on the dean's list at her prestigious private school. I truly love teaching and helping people grow as writers. And sometimes, very busy professionals simply don't have the time to thoroughly edit their lengthy study results, so I am able to relieve them of that burden. Regarding teaching, whether it's with a frustrated middle schooler or a high schooler struggling with SAT vocabulary, I love it when I'm able to facilitate their comprehension.

Stacy is extremely bright and adept at connecting with children. She has a facility with explaining things multiple ways and will hold the bar exactly to where the child is capable of working. I have a Master's degree in education and a law degree. I worked as a teacher and performed legal writing services for years. I have assisted many senior employees in the petroleum industry with revising their resumes and editing their technical papers.
