Introduction: My name is Milene Hume. I am a French native and qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher status. I have taught to companies, privates and language school centers at all levels and ages.
I can help to understand the subtle technicalities of the language, expand the vocabulary, and assist with pronunciation and fluency.
This is what students can expect to learn in my classes: Conversation, Pronunciation rules and practice, Grammar, Reading, Vocabulary, Writing, Conjugation, Exercises and a lot of FUN! This is so important to learn in a positive and nice atmosphere.
My lessons are tailor-made to meet my students' needs and I endeavour to cover all four skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.
We can meet in your place (40 dollars + mileage), at my place (35 dollars) or in a public place like a library or a Coffee shop (the price will depend on how far it would be).

I adore working with Milene! She is a fantastic tutor. She has a wonderful way of encouraging me and making the material make sense. My French has improved dramatically since we have been working together. I would highly recommend her!!

Milene is an excellent teacher. She is always over prepared, bringing games and experiences to teach the lesson. Milene is willing to work on any skill or topic the class wants. Skills are taught at the level of the students' ability. She always follows through with what she has promised to teach for that lesson. She has very up to date knowledge of the way French is currently spoken and used in everyday life.

I started taking beginner-level French with Milene this year with a small group of people. I was immediately impressed by her preparedness and approach for teaching a group with varying degrees of French proficiency. It's early on, so I can't say that I'm even close to fluent yet, but she inspires me to keep learning.

I have studied French for many years and can read French fairly well but I have difficulty comprehending and speaking. Milene is very patient and helpful in encouraging me to speak even if my conversation is halting. She is also able to change and accommodate the student's needs.
