- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are two basic services offered by cnctNOW (Connect Now). - Training/Consulting - Management The nature of both of these services is that they require long term commitments (6-month minimum) and so prices are based on a monthly fee. Straight consulting time can be purchased for $75/hr. Contract services are bid according to the nature of the job and expectations of the client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally offer 1 hour of consulting or getting-to-know-you time free. This time is spent learning about the business explaining my process and setting up expectations. Frequently I research some of the information about the prospective client so that we can begin on discussions specific to their needs as I am able to assess through public facing media. After establishing expectations I will determine the best strategy and services relevant to the client. I will then send a contract/estimate for the cost of the work. Upon approval of the contract, I will begin the process of onboarding the client. Continued regular communication is key to the entire relationship. I will send regular updates and request materials and information as needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA from Washington State University with a dual major in English Lit as well as Digital Technology and Culture. That degree is a precursor to the increasingly frequent Social Media Marketing degrees now common on many campuses. Additionally, I have an MBA in Management and Strategy from Western Governors University. This deeper understanding of business and management help me make better decisions concerning social media use to promote a business than some of the more inexperienced practitioners. I have been in business helping clients with social media or working for small to large organizations managing social media since 2009.
