In our first session we’ll look at your current lifestyle and medical history, including current medications, supplements, sleep patterns, and other things that can impact your food choices. We’ll then discuss your food and exercise preferences using the 3-day journal that you will record and send me in advance. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Your success concerning your health goals boils down to one thing: Habits. My process will empower you to create strong healthy habits while eliminating any self-defeating ones. I can meet with you in person or via phone/internet phone, depending on your needs. We will discuss several things, including your current nutrition habits, your health goals, and your food preferences. I'll walk you through keeping an intake journal for three days to better assess the state of your current diet. We will also assess your level of needed support: Do you suspect food sensitivities or digestive issues? Do you need support through an elimination and/or autoimmune protocol? If you are local, we'll also answer the following: Do you want to learn how to shop for and prepare healthy meals, or do you want it done for you? If you want to learn, I will coach you through meal planning and food shopping, and show you an efficient meal prep system to save you time and effort in the kitchen. If you prefer to have it done for you, I can provide pricing and packages for you!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified personal fitness trainer and group fitness instructor, and former owner/operator of Fit at Home which provided personal training services to clients in the comfort of their own home. My experience training clients, coupled with my own personal transformation, paved the way for me to return to school to study metabolism and nutrition. I hold a Master's degree in Human Nutrition. I have combined this education with my time in the fitness industry to create Ceejack Consulting, where I help my clients change their bodies and their health outcomes by changing their thoughts and their habits.
